How can I obtain authorization to view and maintain statements on accounts on which I am not the Primary Owner?
The Primary Owner must enroll you as an Authorized User on their Account Access service in order for you to view and maintain statements on their accounts.
As an Account Access Authorized User, you will have full access to all existing and future accounts held in the Primary Owner's name. You will also have the ability to enroll in or access the Web Bill Pay service.
To enroll as an Account Access Authorized User, you and the Primary Owner must complete and sign the Navy Federal Online Account Access Service Application and Agreement. You can find the application under the "Other Services" tab when you sign on to the Account Access service, or in the "Download Publications" section, under "About Navy Federal" tab of our Home Page. The Primary Owner must complete and sign Section 1 of the application, and you must complete and sign Section 2. Once completed and signed, you may fax the form to 703-206-3776, or mail it to Navy Federal Credit Union, Attn: Electronic Services, P.O. Box 3001, Merrifield, VA 22119-3001.
Once you are enrolled as an Authorized User, you will receive a letter of instructions in the mail. Simply sign on to the Account Access service using your own access number. This will initially take you to the "Account Summary" of your primary accounts.
To view account information on accounts on which you are designated as an Account Access Authorized User, follow these steps: Scroll down to the bottom of your "Account Summary" page and click the "Display Authorized User Accounts" button. From the "Authorized User Accounts Selection" page, select the member's name for the account you wish to view and click the "Submit" button. This will sign you off from your own accounts and transfer you to the accounts on which you are designated as an Account Access Authorized User for the remainder of the session.
If you wish to view and maintain statements from there, follow these steps: Click on the "eStatement" icon located on the navigation bar. From there you will be presented with up to twelve months of statements for that individual's accounts. If you need a copy of a statement that is not listed, you may request it to be mailed to the address of record. To request a copy of a statement by mail, you will need to go to the "Other Services" main menu, scroll down to the link labeled "Statement by Mail Request " and follow the instructions on the form.
